What is your maximum group size?
We comfortably host up to 12 guests on our 37-foot vessel, the Lady in Red. This size ensures everyone has ample space to relax, socialize, and move around freely while enjoying all the amenities. It’s the perfect balance for a private, personal experience without feeling crowded.
Is there a bathroom on the boat?
Yes, absolutely. The Lady in Red is equipped with a clean, private, and functional marine head (bathroom). It’s one of the many full-service amenities that make spending a full day on the water with your group comfortable and convenient for everyone.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Your safety and comfort are paramount. Captain Ron closely monitors forecasts. If he deems conditions unsafe or unfavorable, we will proactively contact you to reschedule your trip or provide a full refund. We never charge a weather cancellation fee when the captain calls it off.
Do you allow alcohol on board?
Yes, responsible consumption of your own alcohol is permitted for guests of legal drinking age. We provide cooler space and ice. We simply ask that you please avoid glass bottles for safety. Red Wine must be in cup with lid to avoid staining upholstery. The captain reserves the right to modify or conclude any charter for safety concerns.
What should we bring with us?
We recommend sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, towels, any desired drinks and snacks, and a camera! We provide ice, cooler, floating noodles, Bluetooth stereo, and all the necessary safety equipment. Just bring your personal items, your party, and your sense of adventure for the perfect day.
What is included in the charter price?
Your fee includes the private use of the boat, the services of your USCG Master Captain and crew, fuel, necessary safety gear, and complimentary ice. We provide the platform, expertise, and a Bluetooth sound system. You bring your preferred drinks, snacks, and sunscreen for a personalized day.
What is your cancellation policy?
We offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 72 hours before your scheduled departure. For cancellations within 72 hours of departure, there is no monetary refund, however, you can reschedule your charter to take place within 30 days. Refunds are subject to our ability to fill the charter slot.
Can we swim during the charter?
Yes! Swimming is a highlight. We have a transom-mounted ladder for easy water access and a fantastic hot & cold freshwater shower to rinse off after. We’ll find a beautiful, safe, and calm spot for your group to take a refreshing dip in the Gulf waters.
Where do we depart from?
Our departure points include Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach areas. The marina address and detailed parking instructions are provided in your booking confirmation email after you secure your charter. We aim to make the meet-up process as seamless and stress-free as possible for you.
If you are renting a house during your stay, we can make arrangements to pick you up and drop you off right at your dock
Are children allowed on the charters?
Children are absolutely welcome and often have the most fun! We have USCG-approved adult life jackets onboard. In Florida children under 6 years old must wear a life jacket on a vessel under 26 feet. Children under 6 years on vessels over 26 feet are exempt from Florida’s life jacket law. We require those guests with Children to provide their own life jackets for safety.
